An Adept Ring is a Ring-class piece of equipment found in Golden Sun and Golden Sun: The Lost Age. In both games it can be won as a prize at the Lucky Wheels minigame that uses Game Tickets and is found and played at Tolbi in the first game and at Contigo in the second. Its buy value is 3100 coins and its sell value is 2325, its sell value while broken is 1550, and its repair value is 775.
The Adept Ring does not provide any statistics boosts while equipped. Rather, it is Used as an item by an Adept able to equip it both in and out of battle (but it does not actually have to be equipped, needing only be in that Adept's inventory) to restore one Adept's PP by around 7. While this ring can be used to restore any party member's PP in the field, during battle the Adept can only use it on himself/herself.
Amongst the rings that can be won in each game's Lucky Wheels, attention is always paid to this ring in particular because it has the unique distinction of providing the only effect in either game where an item can be used like a consumable item to restore a small, set amount of PP to a target. Of course, it is likely to break only after a few uses each time it is repaired from the last time it broke, and it isn't exactly much PP being restored, but since the only other PP restoring item is the valuable and hard-to-come-by Psy Crystal that restores an Adept's PP meter fully, this can potentially be interesting to carry around in the inventory.
