Angle Worm, Fire Worm and Chimera Worm are species of monsters found in Golden Sun: The Lost Age. These monsters, resembling moderately-sized armored worms with four swords, are palette swaps of each other and have differing levels of power and defense.

Angle Worm

Angle Worm

An Angle Worm is a member with blue skin, pink armor and a light green underbelly. Angle Worm has 37 HP, 40 Attack, 9 Defense, 14 Agility, and 1 Luck. It is evenly, but poorly, resistant to Mercury, Jupiter and Venus-based attacks and weak against Mars attacks.

As a monster found early in the game, Angle Worm's attack options are very slim, it can only attack with a physical attack and use the monster skill Angle Spike for enhanced damage.

Felling an Angle Worm yields 12 EXP, 10 coin, and sometimes, an Elixer. Angle Worms are fought in several areas including Kandorean Temple, the Shrine of the Sea God and Dehkan Plateau. In all three areas, they are hardly a major threat.

Fire Worm

Fire Worm

A Fire Worm is a member with pink skin, green armor and a blue underbelly. Fire Worm has 97 HP, 211 Attack, 49 Defense, 94 Agility, and 4 Luck. It is evenly, but poorly, resistant to Mercury, Jupiter and Venus-based attacks and weak against Mars attacks (contrary to it's name).

Fire Worm can attack physically and use the monster skills Angle Spike and Fire Breath for Mars damage to multiple targets.

Felling a Fire Worm yields 158 EXP, 113 coin, and sometimes, an Oil Drop. Fire Worms are fought on Gaia Rock and Izumo Ruins. Again, when compared to other enemies in the area, it is not a major threat.

Chimera Worm

Chimera Worm

A Chimera Worm is a member with orange skin, purple armor and a turquoise underbelly. Chimera Worm has 251 HP, 22 PP (for launching magic attacks, which its counterparts lack), 452 Attack, 133 Defense, 152 Agility, and 5 Luck. It is evenly, but poorly, resistant to Mercury, Jupiter and Venus-based attacks and weak against Mars attacks.

Chimera Worm can attack physically, use the monster skill Angle Spike, and cast Briar for Venus damage to multiple targets. Their PP meter compels them to use Briar only twice, but they're likely to be killed before they can drain their PP.

Felling a Chimera Worm yields 359 EXP, 179 coin, and sometimes, some Water of Life. Chimera Worms are fought in the optional Islet Cave dungeon, accessible via the Teleport Psynergy. They are the weakest enemy in the area and can only be considered a threat when paired up with a Wonder Bird, who can revive them.
