Monsters that can summon other monsters

The following monsters are capable of summoning other monsters to join them in battle. Often the summoned monster is of the same species as the monster that summoned it, although there are exceptions (most notably bosses). It is usually a good idea to eliminate these monsters first to prevent a theoretically unending flow of monsters from entering the battle. Conversely, some players may wish to keep these monsters alive for as long as possible, allowing them to summon more monsters for the player to defeat; this would grant the player a large coin and experience reward as well as increasing the chance of getting an item after battle, though it would put any party of insufficient level at constant risk.
