This is a list of all 18 Mercury Djinn in Golden Sun and Golden Sun: The Lost Age. Their statistic boosts, individual effects, and locations are provided. For summon sequences, see List of Summon sequences.

Star mercury Fizz: When Set, it increases base HP by 9, base PP by 4, and base Defense by 3. When used, Fizz restores 60% of a selected party member’s maximum HP. It is in Mia’s possession when she joins your party in Mercury Lighthouse.

Star mercury Sleet: When Set, it increases base HP by 12, base Attack by 3, and base Luck by 1. When used, Sleet drops the enemy’s attack rating by 25%, and later it can be used again to drop it further down to 50%. It is behind a waterfall in a hallway in Mercury Lighthouse; you must walk through a waterfall blindly in order to find it. It must be battled.

Star mercury Mist: When Set, it increases base HP by 11 and base Attack by 4. When used, Mist damages the foe with Mercury damage 130% of the user’s normal attack damage and puts the foe under Sleep. It is found in Xian; you must talk to a woman at the right spot so she will drop a bucket of water, then use Frost to freeze it into an ice pillar, then go upstairs and hop on it to get to the Djinni.

Star mercury Spritz: When Set, it increases base HP by 8, base PP by 4, and base Agility by 3. When used, Spritz restores 30% of the maximum HP of all current battling Adepts. It is found in the bottom level of Altin Mines, where mine cart tracks must be redirected and a mine cart must be ridden in order to get to the Djinni. It must be battled.

Star mercury Hail: When Set, it increases base HP by 9, base Attack by 4, and base Luck by 1. When used, Hail damages the foe with Mercury damage 40 points above the user’s normal attack damage and drops the foe’s defense rating by 25%, and later it can be used again to drop it further down to 50%. It is found by random encounter on the overworld map in the forested area southwest of Altmiller Cave, where it then must be battled to be acquired.

Star mercury Tonic: When Set, it increases base HP by 8, base PP by 3, base Defense by 2, and base Luck by 2. When used, Tonic removes all status ailments from all current battling Adepts. It is found in Lunpa Fortress after defeating Dodonpa, rescuing Hammet, and slaying Toadonpa. Sneak back inside and talk with Donpa and he will allow you access to a storage room containing the Djinni formerly in his possession.

Star mercury Dew: When Set, it increases base HP by 13, base PP by 4, and base Agility by 4. When used, Dew revives a downed party member with HP restored to 80%. It is found in the third screen of Suhalla Gate; to reach it, drop down the third cliff slide from the left. It must be battled.

Star mercury Fog: When Set, it increases base HP by 9, base Defense by 2, base Agility by 2, and base Luck by 1. When used, Fog damages the foe with Mercury damage 30 points above the user’s normal attack damage and Deludes the target. It is found in the Kandorean Temple; to reach it, attain the Lash Psynergy at the temple’s end from Master Poi and backtrack whence you came, and use Lash on the coiled rope to climb up to the Djinni. It must be battled.

Star mercury Sour: When Set, it increases base HP by 8, base PP by 4, and base Attack by 3. When used, Sour damages the foe with Mercury damage 50% above the user’s normal attack damage and reduces the target’s resistance by 25%, and later it can be used again to drop it further down to 50%. It is found by random encounter on the overworld map in the plains area northeast of Mikasalla, where it then must be battled to be acquired.

Star mercury Spring: When Set, it increases base HP by 11 and base PP by 5. When used, Spring restores 70% of a selected party member’s maximum HP. It is in Piers’ possession when he joins your party at Kibombo.

Star mercury Shade: When Set, it increases base HP by 13, base Defense by 3, and base Luck by 2. When used, Shade decreases all damage done to all party members by 60%, and this effect is always cast first regardless of the user’s Agility. It is in Piers’ possession when he joins your party at Kibombo. Shade is one of the more practical and widely used of the Djinn, much like Venus Djinni Granite and Mars Djinni Flash.

Star mercury Chill: When Set, it increases base HP by 10, base PP by 3, and base Defense by 2. When used, Chill damages the foe with Mercury damage 40 points above the user’s normal attack damage and drops the foe’s defense rating by 25%, and it can later be used again to drop the foe’s defense rating down to 50% maximum; this Djinni effect is identical to that of Mercury Djinni Hail. It is found by random encounter on the overworld map in the central forested stretch of land area south of Naribwe, where it then must be battled to be acquired.

Star mercury Steam: When Set, it increases base HP by 10 and base Attack by 5. When used, Steam raises all battling party member’s Resistances by 40, and it can later be used again to raise resistances further to 80 maximum. This is contrary to the game’s description of the Djinni’s effect as increasing “all allies’ Elemental strength.” This Djinni effect is identical to that of Jupiter Djinni Breeze and twice as strong as the Resist Psynergy. It is found in the interior of Aqua Rock; to reach it, acquire the dungeon’s Parch Psynergy and use it on the water source of the Moai statue behind the Djinni to remove the flowing water that blocks the way to the Djinni. It must then be battled.

Star mercury Rime: When Set, it increases base HP by 10 and base PP by 6. When used, Rime seals a foe’s Psynergy, making it identical to the effect of Jupiter Djinni Luff. It is found in Ancient Lemuria; to attain it, use the Grind Psynergy to reach the location, then use the Cyclone Psynergy on the farthest plant to the left, then use the Tremor Psynergy in front of the now-shaking statue to draw the Djinni out.

Star mercury Gel: When Set, it increases base HP by 9, base Attack by 5, and base Agility by 2. When used, Gel damages the foe with Mercury damage 50% above the user’s normal attack damage and drops the foe’s attack rating by 25%, and it can later be used again to drop the foe’s attack rating down to 50% maximum; it may be seen as Mercury Djinni Sleet with an extra attack thrown in. It is found in Kalt Island.

Star mercury Eddy: When Set, it increases base HP by 9, base Agility by 3, and base Luck by 2. When Eddy is used, all Djinn in recovery mode on all party members recover by one turn before the turn ends, at which point they recover their turns again as normal, so that 2 turns worth were recovered in one turn of battle. It is found in the main, large area of the Shaman Village Cave, where the various boulders in the room must have the Lift Psynergy applied to them properly to reach the Djinni without it escaping. It must be battled.

Star mercury Balm: When Set, it increases base HP by 13 and base PP by 4. When used, Balm revives all downed party members in the current battling party with HP restored to 60%. It is found in a large room with a slippery ice floor in Mars Lighthouse. It must be battled.

Star mercury Serac: When Set, it increases base HP by 12 and base Attack by 3. When used, Serac damages the foe with Mercury damage 70 points above the user’s normal attack damage and has the potential to instantly fell the target. It is found in the long series of hallways in the portion of Islet Cave accessibly only with the Teleport Psynergy. It is hiding in an elevated statue and can only be brought down by an accurately positioned Tremor Psynergy usage. Interestingly enough, very rarely, players do not need to battle for this Djinn. However, most times it must be battled. Players of the game praise this Djinni effect for its 3D visual iceberg effect.
