Puelle (ピュ-ル Pure) is the de facto mayor and chieftain of the village of Prox, and is an NPC in Golden Sun: The Lost Age. With dark green skin and red hair, Puelle visually stands out even amongst the Proxeans, and is probably a Mars Adept with great powers, but nonetheless is seemingly kind-hearted. He works with the Elder of Prox, and while it's not known which of the two has more administrative powers over the town, it is safe to say that together Puelle and the Elder are the town's governing body.
Story[]
He is the one that discovers that the abyss at the edge of the world nearby is gradually growing in size because of the absence of Alchemy and will inevitably threaten Prox in the future. Thus, he is the one who sends out Saturos and Menardi's party on a global journey to take the Elemental Stars from Sol Sanctum and activate the four Elemental Lighthouses with them in order to save both Prox and the rest of Weyard. In doing this, Puelle effectively organizes the effort that will end up saving all of the world from destruction, in spite of the conflict that ensues between Prox's warriors and the main characters of the Golden Sun games, making him technically one of the most important figures in the series.
He is only introduced late in the second game, after the players pass through Prox on their way to the Mars Lighthouse. As Puelle is not as strong as Saturos' or Agatio's group, the Elder of Prox forbids him from following the latter into the Lighthouse. Instead, he forgives Isaac for killing Saturos and Menardi and sends Felix's combined party to the lighthouse to help Agatio and Karst. After the beacon is lit, the two Venus Adepts, along with Kraden, briefly converse with both him and the Elder of Prox about the events that occurred atop the lighthouse, namely the apparent death and subsequent revival of Isaac and Felix's respective parents, as well as the formation of The Golden Sun.
