I was just writing an analysis for this and I realised something, do monster skills utilise the attack or elemental power statistic? I assume they would generally use elemental power, but based off attack, in much the same way an unleash works, but I don't know for sure (and I don't have the time to test right now) -of course, I'd assume that it varies with the specific skill, but I thought I'd ask in general.Slax01 05:57, September 30, 2009 (UTC)

Monster skills in general in either game deal damage either like Psynergy, in which there's a base damage rating to work elemental calculations off of, or like what the community labels "Elemental Physical Attacks", where there's a damage rating determined by the user's Attack stat that is what the game works elemental calculations off of. As far as I can recall at the moment, the games seem consistent in that multi-target skills monsters shoot out like the Breath skills are Psynergy-esque, while single-target physical-looking attacks like Valukar's Stun Jip are Elemental Physical Attacks. Those certainly are what Dull and Blunt are meant to, er, dull and blunt. Erik Jensen (Appreciate me here!) 06:45, September 30, 2009 (UTC)
