The Yellow Orb is a quest item obtainable in Golden Sun: Dark Dawn. As a key item, the Yellow Orb cannot be sold or dropped.
Plot Relevance[]
The item is obtainable from the Yamata Ruins after the player has obtained the Red Orb and Blue Orb and completed the miniature dungeon that is needed to pass in order to acquire it. The orb is concealed within a closed 'eye' of a giant statue buried beneath the sand, which looks very similar to a giant version of the Dancing Idol. The Yellow Orb is used on the Endless Wall alongside the other two orbs to open a gate so the player may continue. In addition, it also helps set up the activation of the Apollo Lens, causing the orb to permanently disappear from your inventory.
