The Zombie, Undead, and Wight are species of monsters found in Golden Sun and Golden Sun: The Lost Age. These monsters, resembling stereotypical zombies in loincloths, are palette swaps of each other and have differing levels of power and defense.

Zombie

Zombie

A normal-sized member with dark reddish skin. The Zombie features 55 HP, 41 Attack, 9 Defense, 5 Agility, and 1 Luck. Its resistances are all quite low, with very weak durability against Venus and Mars elemental attacks.

Zombies are among the first opponents one battles when first exploring the overworld in Golden Sun. As you're controlling a level 2-ish party of Isaac and Garet at that point, the Zombie's HP and Attack ratings can seem respectable, depending on how much you upgraded your defensive equipment at Vale at the start. Of course, with merely a physical attack and low stats everywhere else, the Zombie will quickly become a "kindergarten" enemy.

Felling a Zombie yields 7 EXP, 8 coins, and in somewhat uncommon cases, an Herb. It is fought in Goma Cave and the regions of Golden Sun's overworld map encompassing Vale and Vault and Goma Cave and Bilibin and Kolima Bridge.

Undead

Undead

A normal-sized member with light green skin. The Undead features 165 HP, 180 Attack, 27 Defense, 58 Agility, and 1 Luck. Its resistances are all quite low, with very weak durability against Venus and Mars elemental attacks.

Undead feature the following battle commands: They can attack with a physical attack, look for allies so that another Undead may possibly appear in battle, and cast a monster skill in the form of exuding the smell of decay, which targets multiple Adepts and has a chance to lower each Adept's Attack rating by 1/8th their total attack ratings and visually resembles the Undead lobbing yellow-green-violet slime at the target's feet.

Felling an Undead yields 74 EXP, 90 coins, and in somewhat uncommon cases, an Antidote. It is fought in the optional Vale Cave dungeon and the region of Golden Sun's overworld encompassing Kalay, the exit to Lamakan Desert, and Kalay Docks. In The Lost Age it is fought in Taopo Swamp and several mid-game overworld areas like eastern Osenia, the Apojii Islands, Izumo, and the area around Champa and Ankohl Ruins.

Wight

Wight

A normal-sized member with dark purple skin. The Wight features 192 HP, 205 Attack, 55 Defense, 54 Agility (actually a little less than the Undead), and 2 Luck. Its resistances are all quite low, with very weak durability against Venus and Mars elemental attacks.

Wights can attack with a physical attack, cast a monster skill in the form of exuding the smell of decay, which targets multiple Adepts and has a chance to lower each Adept's Attack rating by 1/8th their total attack ratings and visually resembles the Wight lobbing yellow-green-violet slime at the target's feet, and unleash another monster skill called Rotten Blood which is visually identical to the smell of decay, but targets one Adept, inflicts enhanced damage, and may lower the target's Defense rating by 25%.

Felling a Wight yields 92 EXP, 115 coins, and in somewhat uncommon cases, an Elixer. It is fought in Altmiller Cave, which is somewhat close to when and where Undead can be fought in Golden Sun.
